Candid Conversations
THE SIGNATURE EXPERIENCE
Candid Conversations are a variety of group meetings designed for people who what to become a better version of themselves. It’s a space for purposeful connection to experiment in sharing your authentic self, thoughts, and feelings with strangers to get feedback that you might not receive anywhere else.
If you’re interested in personal or professional growth, have a desire to improve how you relate to others, or want to get to understand yourself better, participating in one of these experiences can help you make progress along that path. As an added bonus you’ll experience some of the ways groups grow and change.
Finally, for those you that have struggled to engage socially after the pandemic quarantine, this is an opportunity to reconnect with others in person.

“Between Us: Candid Conversations within Communities of Color” aims to connect people who are members of BIPOC communities
“Conscious Curiosity: Candid Conversations Between Cultures” aims to connect people from different backgrounds and cultures
“Rewind & Refresh: Candid Conversations Among Alum” is designed for anyone that has participated in a T-group or H.I. Lab
How long is the meeting? One-day
What will we talk about? Anything that the group decides is important at the moment
What role will Marie Carasco have at the meeting? Supporting group participants by providing coaching to bring clarity, improve communication, and balance emotional dynamics
How should I prepare? Decide what you what to get out of the meeting and go through the resources provided
Disclaimers: Candid Conversations are not group therapy sessions and should not be used instead of therapy. Participants in these sessions can experience a spectrum of emotions during and after the meeting. These feelings can include relief, joy, discomfort, frustration and uncertainty. It is recommended that you give yourself time and space to process your feelings in healthy ways after you participated in one of these sessions.

This candid conversation group meeting is designed for members of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities, who have not met before, to engage in thought provoking dialogues of interest to members of BIPOC communities while moving through the various levels of connection that can happen in a group.
Possible Outcomes:
More awareness of limiting beliefs and unconscious biases
Understand how your presence impacts others, and the impact others have on you
Strengthen how you give and receive feedback
Greater sense of self
New perspectives
Participants: Members of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities

This candid conversation group meeting is designed for people that have participated in a T-group or H.I. Lab style group experience (including Talent en Floré LLC’s Candid Conversations) in the past. These group members understand the value of this experience, are clear on what they want to focus on, and what a refresher experience that isn’t as time consuming as the traditional T-group or H.I. Lab approach.
